This week we’re speaking to our Head of Sales; Harpreet. He’s been with us a while now – let’s see if you learn something you didn’t know. So take it away, Harpreet!
Who are you? Harpreet Nirwan, more commonly known as ‘H’!
What do you do? Head of Sales
What does that mean? My team are probably the first contact you’ll have with Microminder. So, making an excellent first impression is what I do best. I lead a top-notch team of sales consultants. We like to keep things light and have fun. So, we make sure that our clients feel the effects of that by creating personable partnerships from the outset.
Where do you live? I spent the majority of my time at my house in leafy Kent. However, I visit our London head office weekly, and you can often find me at one of the many exhibitions.
How long have you worked for Microminder? I joined Microminder 8 years ago.
What’s it been like so far? I moved from Software of Excellence to Microminder as a Solutions consultant with the primary objective of creating relationships with new partners. I started with Microminder as Technical Solutions Consultant working with a team of 3. This team has increased over the past year to 11 since taking over as Head of Sales. Over the years, we have changed the type of services provided to cater for all budgets with services such as our HaaS (Hardware as a service). Industry experts even nominated Our HaaS for the Best Innovation of the Year in the Dental Industry award.
What did you do before? I started my career in teaching after completing my masters in IT. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with Software of Excellence. That’s when I fell in love with the Dental sector. Having that knowledge and experience has helped me assist clients confidently and help determine the best technologies and solutions for their needs.
What’s your favourite part of the job? I have been fortunate to work with a bubbly bunch of colleagues – we’re like family! The culture we have created extends out to all of our clients too. Maintaining internal and external and close relationships with the company is 100% my favourite part of the job.
Tell us what excites you most about the future. I cannot wait for the next generation of technology we’re currently playing with at HQ. So keep your eyes peeled – we’ll be sharing some soon!
Where can we find you when you’re not working? Life outside Microminder is all about creating memories with my family & travelling. My 2 & 5-year-old kids keep me on my feet. So there’s never a dull moment!
